Thermal frequency for the treatment of varicose veins

Most people with varicose veins look for appropriate treatment methods for them, and perhaps the two most popular methods of treatment are thermal frequency for varicose veins treatment and laser treatment for varicose veins. These two methods are the best in terms of effect and effectiveness. The problem of varicose veins occurs when the blood vessels become severely swollen and the blood vessels fail to circulate the blood. Varicose veins are also divided into two types: varicose veins and spider veins.

varicose veins definition

Varicose veins of the first type are known as varicose veins, and they occur as a result of swollen blood vessels in the affected area and the absence of any circulation of blood in that area, such as varicose veins. The diameter of the area affected by varicose veins of the first type reaches 4 mm, which is a large size that shows the affected area with noticeable swelling, as the legs are one of the most common areas of infection with the first type.

The second type of varicose veins is known as spider varicose veins, as they appear in a spiderlike shape on the surfaces of the skin. This type of varicose vein affects small size.

Sometimes those affected veins in spider varicose veins are not clear, unlike the first type, and they are in the form of thin veins forming a web-like network, and the thigh and foot are among the most common areas in the second type.

Varicose veins treatment method

Thermal frequency is one of the most important types of varicose veins treatment of various types. Thermal frequency is used from laser or from wired frequency, and the two types differ from each other in terms of the treatment method. Below is an explanation of the treatment method for each of them.

Intravenous laser method for treating varicose veins

The thermal frequency of the laser is used by inserting a catheter into the vein. The examination is done using ultrasound, in which the location of the affected vein is determined and the tube is directed to it.

The laser is infused into the vein through the tube after identifying the affected places.

The laser transferred to the affected veins supplies them with energy, which causes the affected vein to heat up and then close.

The slow passage of the ultrasound laser into the affected vein is the reason the vein is completely closed off.

Anesthesia is used before this operation.

The side effects of this type of operation are: swelling of the affected veins and nerve injuries, but often temporary.

The radio ablation method used to treat varicose veins

This method is based on extracting the thermal frequency from the radio frequency, to affect the heat on the varicose veins in the affected areas.

The affected vein is examined by creating a small incision and then inserting a catheter or a specialized tube, then ultrasound is detected about the affected area, through the material placed inside that tube.

Radiofrequency is sent, which heats the affected vein until it reaches the stage of closure.

This operation is also done under the influence of either a semi or a general anesthetic.

Among the most important side effects of this method: are tingling feeling, and numbness.

Varicose veins home treatment

In addition to using thermal frequency to treat varicose veins, varicose veins can be treated at home by following these tips:

  • Reducing foods that cause water retention in the body, especially those foods that contain sodium.
  • Eating a lot of foods that contribute to the treatment of water retention in the body, such as almonds, pistachios, and dark vegetables.
  • Increase the intake of fiber such as legumes, and wheat.
  • The exercise of raising the legs above the level of the body, the practice of this habit has a role in improving the blood circulation of the legs.
  • Practicing useful exercises to treat varicose veins such as walking, swimming, and cycling.
  • Practicing yoga, which is a useful exercise in the treatment of varicose veins.
